The Code: Closers private server is only available to players from Western Europe, and can be played on a range of operating systems, including Windows, Mac and Linux. Players can connect to the server via these operating systems using a game client such as Uplay, PlayOn, or the Steam client.
Closers is the first official western-made Closers private server. For those who aren't familiar with Closers, the massively multiplayer online action RPG was first released in Japan in 2009, and has since become the most popular MMO in that country.
In an interview with MMO Champion, the team member who handles international marketing and communications for the CODE: Closers private server, explained why they thought it was so important to get the game into an English-speaking region and the players that are familiar with the game in the first place.
As far as I can tell, there are already over 120 players on this private server, meaning that there are quite a few players who are interested in making this server a success. If you are one of the people that are interested in seeing the project succeed, you can join the official private server at this link:
What do you think? Is this something you would want to try? Are there any features that you dislike about this particular Closers private server? Is it worth keeping an eye out for future updates and perhaps an eventual release?
If you have any questions about this server or the developers of it, please ask it in the comments below. There is also a subreddit if you have any questions or feedback about the server itself.
