The fifth game in the Dead Rising series. Set one year after Dead Rising 4, the game features an older Frank West returning to Willamette, Colorado, during the summer. The game focuses more on the town of Willamette itself, than on the outbreak. The game introduces the "Instructable" reporter, which can be used to collect interesting items and continue. As before, the 72 hour system has been dropped, to encourage exploration. While the survival goals are now forgotten for Frank, the player can spend time on the Willamette Memorial Megaplex to find hard to reach loot, including weapons, costumes, and power-ups, as well as micro-items. Two difficulty options were added to the game - "Casual" and "Action" - making it a single-player game by default, but the "Instructable" feature gives it the feel of a multiplayer game, although it technically is a single-player game. Capcom has also given the game much-needed updates. Like in Dead Rising 4, some of the new game modes from the fourth game have been brought to the fifth, and an extra game mode, Capcom Fighters, has been added in the latest update, which lets players fight against other players, as well as unlockable power-ups for their own fights. Food can now be cooked at specific locations in the game instead of only in the hospital, and the head of the mall, Mr. Caraway, now has his own Mega-Character (called Mr. Caraway The Zombie) who is a boss for the players.
The sixth game in the Dead Rising series. Set following the events of Dead Rising 5, the game features a young Frank West returning to Willamette, Colorado during the Halloween season. An outbreak has occurred at the "Masked Ball", a parties where people are required to wear a mask, as an alternate of Halloween. While the outbreak isn't as large as in the previous games, it is much more dangerous due to the large quantities of zombies (over 20,000) that have infested the town. d2c66b5586
